Five MCCC women’s tennis players earned All-Region 19 honors with four being named All-Region in both Singles and Doubles.  Players were named to All-Region teams based on their performance at the Region 19 Championship.

Sophomore Julia Fillat Ferrer (Barcelona, Spain/Santa Ana Mataro) was Region Champion at 1^st Singles and sophomore Aida Torrealba (San Felipe, Venezuela/U.E. Colegio) was Region Champion at 2^nd Singles.  Fillat Ferrer and Torrealba teamed up to win 1^st Doubles at the Region Championship.  Both players earned 1^st Team All Region 19 honors in Singles and Doubles flights.

Sophomore Sarvin Salehi (Princeton, NJ) reached the Region final and 3^rd Singles, earning her 2^nd Team All-Region 19 honors.  Freshman Ariadna Acosta (Barcelona, Spain/Escolapies Lluria) reached 4^th Singles finals at the Region 19 Championship, giving her 2^nd Team All-Region 19 honors.  Salehi and Acosta also reached the finals at 2^nd Doubles, each earning 2^nd Team All-Region 19 in Doubles.

Freshman Fathima Salman Al Faris (Monmouth Junction, NJ/South Brunswick) earned 2^nd Team All-Region 19 honors after reaching the finals at 5^th Singles in the Region 19 Championship.
